ORDERS & DELIVERY

1. WHAT IS THE DELIVERY TIME?
Order processing time is 1-2 business days + delivery time (2-5 business days). Please be aware of possible delays in delivery and other logistical challenges during holiday season. Christmas delivery guaranteed for orders placed by 15th December, before 12:00 pm 🎁.

2. DO I NEED TO PAY CUSTOMS FEES?
No, we cover all applicable duties and customs fees.

3. HAS MY ORDER BEEN SHIPPED? HOW CAN I TRACK IT?
Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with the tracking number of your parcel, which is fully traceable on the carrier’s website.

4. I HAVEN’T RECEIVED MY ORDER. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
We kindly invite you to contact our customer service at contact.wooden.store@gmail.com.

5. WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY PARCEL ARRIVED DAMAGED?
If your parcel arrives damaged, we kindly invite you to contact our customer service team. Make sure to take photos of the parcel received.

6. WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I RECEIVE A FAULTY ITEM?
If an item received is faulty or was received damaged, please contact our customer service. Any faulty item must be notified within 7 days of receiving the order.

7. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THE REFUND FOR MY ORDER?
The refund of your order will be processed within 14 business. The refund will be issued directly to the payment method used for the original purchase.

PAYMENTS

1. CAN I CANCEL OR MODIFY MY ORDER?
Orders may not be cancelled or modified once shipped. But we might still help you within 1 hour after placing the order, just contact our customer service.

2. WHY WAS MY PAYMENT REFUSED?
Please kindly contact your bank in case your payment is declined or cancelled. If the payment was successful, you will receive an automatic confirmation e-mail with your order.

ABOUT MAPS

1. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BASIC AND PRIME?
Map "Prime" is with extras (Antarctica, compass rose, 3 planes, 3 ships, 5 ocean names).
Map "Basic" is without these elements, only continents and islands.

2. WHY IS THE COLOUR OF THE MAP LOOKS DIFFERENT FROM THE PICTURES?
The colour of the map may be slightly lighter or darker than in the pictures because the map is made of natural wood. Each map is unique!

3. WHICH ISLANDS ARE IN SET WITH THE MAP?
The map contains almost all countries and islands, except for the very small ones. Please note, wooden maps are not of a precise geographical copies, they are decorative pieces.

MAP INSTALLATION

1. HOW EASY IS IT TO REMOVE THE DOUBLE-SIDED ADHESIVE TAPE?
The best way is to heat the tape from the back of the wooden panels with a heat gun or hair dryer. Do not pull the pieces away from the wall as they may break or damage the wall!

2. ON WHICH WALL SURFACES CAN THE MAP BE INSTALLED?
For most wall surfaces (dust-free, non-crumbly, flat without wallpaper and curved elements) you can use the strong double-sided adhesive tape supplied.
The strength depends on the type of surface.
It is excellent for drywall, flat plaster walls, painted surfaces (dust free and non flaky), plastic, glass, dust free and non oily wood surfaces and other flat non flaky brick / cement walls.
The tape is not well suited for textured walls or tapestries that would be pulled off by the weight of the wood panels.
